Effective July 30, 2012 I will join Everfi™, a venture-backed educational technology firm, as an Executive Vice President in Chicago with responsibility for building the company’s Midwest operations.  This fantastic opportunity combines my passions – business/personal finance and leveraging educational technology to educate and engage students.

The immediate focus will include incorporating Everfi’s Financial Literacy programs in all public schools in Chicago and Illinois, while continuing to implement and build the educational platform across the Midwest.  Everfi’s student centric technology platform teaches, assesses, and certifies students in critical skills including Financial Literacy, Student Loan Management, Digital Literacy, Substance Abuse, Health and Wellness and many exciting new programs.

Given my new role, I will not be making any new posts as of July 30, 2012.  Thank you for following me the past few months. If you have an interest in learning more about how Everfi™ can help your students, or are a firm or individual that would like to sponsor an Everfi™ program in schools, please email me at
